thankful and blessed

This year I have so much to be thankful for, an amazing husband, beautiful baby boy, great job, family, friends, and happiness. I mean I am living my dream life.  I have been waiting so long for this point in my life and it is marvelous and more than I could have ever dreamed possible. These boys of mine have me wrapped around their fingers. They are simply the best gift I could have ever asked for and I thank God every single day for them. They bring a smile to my face even on my worst days. My family and friends are so supportive and loving, I couldn't ask for better people to be around my son. My students are the best. I am so lucky to have gotten a job at such an amazing school with such great students. They love learning so much and that makes me so happy. I seriously love my job! I am the happiest I have ever been and look forward to what the future holds for my little family. We have love, laughter, and happiness and thats all I could ask for.

friendsgiving [2013]

About a year ago we reconnected with some high school friends that we had drifted apart from after graduation. I am not really sure how we even reconnected but we did and I am so very happy about that! They have proved to be some of our best friends and I can't imagine our life without them! They have been there for us throughout our pregnancy journey and are such a big part of Cooper's life. They truly love our little boy and it melts my heart.
This year we decided to have our first annual "Friendsgiving". Everyone chose a dish or two that was special to their own family. Most of the dishes were the common turkey, dressing, green bean casserole but we had a few that some people weren't used to. Apparently homemade mac and cheese is not a staple at everyones Thanksgiving?! It sure is at my house! Actually my favorite!! And sweet deviled eggs?! I have never heard of them but our friends brought them and they were a hit!!
Our night was filled with laughter and sweet kisses for our little Coop. He, as always, was the center of attention but he sure doesn't mind! He was soaking it in and smiling for everyone!! He wore his first real (non onesie) flannel shirt and his little jeans and he was precious!! Whoever said dressing boys wasn't fun is crazy!! I love dressing this little man up everyday!!

This year I have so much to be thankful for and I am so very thankful for our sweet friends. They have no clue how much it means to James and I to have such positive people in our sons life. Even though they don't have kids they are all so natural and loving towards our boy. I can't wait for the years to come with such great friends!!!
